Infrastructure shapes an
institution. Sound infrastructure is the fundamental
necessity of a healthy and thriving center of Higher
Education. MMH College has a sprawling campus in 13.58
acres of land with adequate and state of the art
infrastructure. Sufficient supporting facilities are
available. The college campus has additional facilities
of Post office, Bank, Medical Dispensary and Temple. In
spite of financial constraints, we are proud to cater
that our college Infrastructure supports twenty-one
(21) UG departments, eighteen(18) PG departments,
Central Library(besides departmental libraries),
Seminar room, NCC Office, NSS Office, Teachers
Association Office, Sports ground, Gymnasium, Botanical
garden, parks, separate common room for girls, Procter
Office, Examination Control Office, Enquiry Office,
separate Administrative block, Auditorium, Moot court,
bicycle /motorcycle stand, Car parking, Canteen,
Medical aid room and also IGNOU centre.18 well
maintained lush green lawns are available within the
campus. One botanical garden is maintained by botany
department having different varieties of medicinal and
herbal plants.Most of the departments have HOD rooms,
department libraries, and seminar halls. However, the
books in the department library only cater to PG
students.
Seminar Halls
72 well-furnished, electricity-efficient, well ventilated,
and spacious classrooms, 10 ICT enabled Classrooms, and 6
Seminar halls are available for teaching learning process.
Class room
15 well equipped laboratories and 6 research laboratories
are available conforming to the syllabi norms. There are
laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology,
Mathematics, Geography, Physical Education, Psychology and
BCA departments. Instruction manuals of all laboratories
are prepared and supplied to the students. Students are
given freehand to perform laboratory experiments, carry out
research works under the supervision of qualified and
skilled lab assistants beyond the syllabi also.
The research Labs are also established to encourage and
enable the students and faculty to analyze and carryout
research-oriented projects in various emerging areas.
Computer Lab
The computer labs are equipped with servers, computers,
internet connectivity, printer and scanner.
Auditorium
Well equipped air-conditioned auditorium is provided with
LCD projectors, public address systems which are utilized
for organising guest lectures, conferences, symposiums etc.
This is also utilized to conduct various cultural and
extracurricular activities.The seating capacity of all the
seminar halls is beyond 200.
Central Library
Central Library supports the Institution in realizing its
primary goal of imparting quality education. The library
has partially automated its activities to provide better,
effective and immediate services to user fraternity. 132166
books, 68 journals, various magazines are available in the
library with seating capacity of 200. Library also have an
access to online journals. There are 20 computers in LAN
which helps students for software learning DELNET and NPTEL
lectures.
Department of Physical Education
The college has full fledged Physical education department
with all the indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
Department has all the modern equipments, two gymnasiums
with changing room, playgrounds and yoga hall.
Gymnasium
Table tennis, chess, badminton, yoga, weight lifting, power
lifting, best physique, boxing, wrestling, judo, karate,
gymnastic, wushu, taekwondo indoor games facilities are
available in the campus for the students.
Playground
Outdoor games include cricket, volleyball, kabaddi,
basketball, athletics, kho-kho, hockey, football, handball
baseball, cross county race, netball, softball, tug of war.
The college has won various prestigious awards and trophies
in different sports activities.
